Off To Hospital - D-Day Imminent

This morning I went to the hospital for a check and the doctor decided to bring me back in today and start the induction process off. The doctor thought it was best as I am now 13 days overdue, and have a little protein in my water and swollen legs so he is just being Cautious . Also Bump is not so active now so he said " Hayley lets get this baby out". I go into hospital at 2.00pm today and will not come home again until we have our little bundle of joy. So this is me signing off. I am sure Steve will keep you all updated as the labor Progresses. Bye for now :-)

Seduction not Induction

I just bumped into my lovely midwife Jane at the shop and she touched the pineapple I bought and said "this is the one Hayley". We walked out into the car park together and she said "Have I ever mentioned seduction not induction"? Oh she did make me laugh. I know Jane is working on the delivery suite tomorrow so I do hope Bump will join us then. To be honest, all the midwifes I have seen have been terrific but I have built up a trusting and caring bond with my two regular midwifes, Jane and Marika, so I would love it if one of them helped to bring Bump into the world. I told Jane I would be in the hospital again on Monday, and she suspects I will be asked in again in the evening if nothing happens after another sweep. I have not given up hope of a normal birth though as I am sure Bump is getting ready and I am resting up ready for the marathon I am about to embark on.
