Kick, Kick, Kick
Bump is becoming very active and often can be seen moving around in my tummy. This especially happens when I am at work. I sometimes start laughing out loud as I see my stomach moving and, can see Bump moving. I give up work in ten weeks for six months and cannot wait as I am starting to get tired in the afternoons. I have started going for a nap in my car at lunch times when I am really tired.
My work colleague, Kerry, had her baby last Monday after 66 hours in labour and an emergency Caesarian section. Kerry was due to finish work today and then her baby was due June 15th, but things do not always go to plan. Steve and I were away in the Lake District at the weekend and received a text telling us Kerry’s news. I was shocked, happy and terrified all at once, especially since Kerry seemed to have such a good pregnancy. During our pregnancies we have compared happenings and I always seemed to be the one complaining of backache, sickness tiredness etc, but Kerry said she felt great. I just hope that I have had the problems through the pregnancy and not in the Labour room. I guess Bump will come out no matter what, but I am just hoping he/she will come out through the normal channel, and without any stress or discomfort to him/her.
