8 Weeks 2 Days

Gosh I feel pretty bad that I am already 8 weeks and two days and this is my first time to make an entry in my blog. I can only say I have been extremely tired and have found no time to sleep let alone write in my blog. Anyway, where do I start? The first eight weeks have already seen many ups and downs. I have felt happy, sad, and sometimes tearful. I have waited all my life to meet the right person and build a relationship. To then fall pregnant with that person seemed like a dream come true. However, now I have the news that I am pregnant, I am so nervous, and a little scared. I just want everything to be perfect and keep praying the baby, Steve and I will stay healthy and happy. It does not matter how often you hear people say “Don’t worry everything will be ok” you still do worry. I am trying not to stress or worry but sometimes life throws events and issues that you do not even think about until you fall pregnant.

Both Steve and I have our own concerns and are trying to talk them through so we are able to build the right future together. We hope we have values we both believe in and we want our children to learn such values. I think we are both feeling a little shocked that I got pregnant so fast, but now I am pregnant I am very thankful and believe it’s a miracle. We both are not exactly young chickens anymore, although we still have lots of life left in us. I know we will bring a lot of love and care into our childrens life and will try to teach them right and wrong. We want to help our children grow strong and help them to be thier own indivduals and be free sprits. We will learn from them as they will us. We are already learning new things, even though, the baby has not left the womb.

I have been feeling pretty down this week and exhausted so I decided to take a few days of work and visit my sister-in-law Sharon in Wiltshire. Steve is at work and seems very happy for me to take off for a few days. I think the thought of having the house, TV remote, computer, and pizza numbers all to hand might make any male happy to see their other half depart for a few days.

I am pretty tired now but still managing to stay awake to watch Peter Kay. Oh it’s good being pregnant as I get all the best treatment. My brother and sister-in-law have given up their lovely double bed to sleep in bunk beds in their daughter Shannon’s room. Night, Night.
